I have a couple friends in my life now who I've been able to be there for and relate to, simply because of the wild life I have in my past. If I hadn't been there, I wouldn't have been able to have the relationships I have now, nor would I have the ability to relate to what they're going through. It's amazing what God will get us through and then turn it around for his glory! I’m there too!
